About Horology

Horology is a watch collection app operated by Flawless Studio LLC, a United States company. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Flawless Studio LLC. The app catalogs your watches, tracks what you wear, measures accuracy with a reference clock and a microphone timegrapher, keeps service records and reminders, and shows insights, with widgets and an Apple Watch app.

These terms cover the Horology app and this website. You do not need an account to use Horology. App Store downloads and purchases require Apple's services. For support, email support@horology.app.

Measurements

Horology's Timegrapher listens through your iPhone's microphone, and its Time Check depends on your timing and the reference time available to your device. Results vary with your watch, your device, background noise and how you hold the phone, so treat them as a helpful guide rather than a laboratory measurement.

A watchmaker's equipment remains the reference for regulation, repair and service decisions. Lift angles, service intervals and other reference values in the app are typical figures; confirm them for your movement. Do not open, adjust or regulate a watch based only on Horology's readings.

Your app license

Your App Store license is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, unless a custom license is provided with the app. These terms explain our service and do not replace the applicable app license or limit consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.

Use the app lawfully and respect intellectual property rights. Do not bypass purchase restrictions or interfere with the service. Rights in the app, its design and the Horology name and logo remain with Flawless Studio LLC or the relevant rights holders; downloading the app does not transfer ownership to you.

Horology Pro

Horology is free to use with up to three watches in your collection. Horology Pro is an optional purchase that unlocks unlimited watches, the Timegrapher and six-position test, Insights, accuracy history, service reminders, exports and Studio photos. It is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription, the yearly one with a free trial, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The App Store shows the price and what is included before you buy.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, and any unused part of a free trial ends when you subscribe. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Use the app's restore option with the same Apple Account to restore Pro on a new device.

You can request a refund through Apple's purchase support. Eligibility depends on Apple's rules and applicable consumer law. Nothing in these terms takes away statutory refund or other consumer rights.

Availability

Features can depend on your app version, device, operating system and permissions. The reference clock needs an internet connection to synchronize; without one, the app uses your device's clock.

Your collection is stored on your device. Keep the backups you need, and export your collection if you want a copy elsewhere; restoring a purchase is separate from restoring your data. We may update features and compatibility or discontinue parts of the service, subject to applicable law and your purchase rights. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or indefinite support for a particular device. The applicable app license governs warranties and liability, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Watch brands

Horology is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any watch brand. Watch brand and model names, including those you enter and those shown as examples, belong to their owners and are used only to identify watches. Dials drawn in the app are generic illustrations, not reproductions of any manufacturer's designs.

Privacy and other services

Our privacy policy explains what the app stores on your device, how it uses the microphone, camera and reference time servers, reminders, purchases and your choices. Reading these terms does not give consent to processing that needs a separate choice.

The app uses Apple services for distribution, payments, notifications and Apple Watch, and RevenueCat for purchase entitlements. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the app or the law changes. The date at the top identifies the latest version, and material changes will be communicated as required by law.
